Project Manager Global PMO
Job Summary
The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Global PMO team in Valencia.
In this role you will drive the successful delivery of cross-functional internal initiatives across the business. Sitting alongside business operations and key corporate functions (including Finance Legal HR and Operations) you will manage assigned projects using a blended waterfall and agile approach ensuring clarity accountability and measurable results.
You will partner closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams bringing structure to complex initiatives while maintaining flexibility in execution. This role requires strong delivery discipline proactive risk management and the ability to build organic alignment across multiple stakeholders without relying on direct line authority.
What you will do
Project Planning & Execution:
Lead the planning and execution of assigned cross-functional internal projects across core business functions (Finance Operations Legal HR).
Translate business needs into structured actionable project plans with clear milestones ownership and measurable outcomes.
Adapt delivery approaches based on project complexity stakeholder needs and business priorities while maintaining consistent execution standards.
Governance Operating Rhythms & Reporting:
Establish and maintain clear project-level operating rhythms status tracking and dependency management for assigned initiatives.
Drive clarity on priorities roles and responsibilities across project stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Maintain accurate project documentation risk/issue tracking and decision-support reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Risk Management & Stakeholder Alignment:
Identify risks dependencies and blockers early within your projects proposing mitigation plans and escalating where appropriate.
Communicate clearly and consistently with stakeholders at varying levels of seniority building trust and collaborative relationships.
Facilitate alignment among project stakeholders when competing priorities arise to keep initiatives moving forward.
Continuous Improvement:
Support process optimization and workflow improvements within the scope of your assigned projects.
Promote project management best practices and support continuous improvement initiatives across PMO practices.
Qualifications :
What Were Looking For
Qualifications & Experience:
57 years of project management experience within fast-paced or cross-functional environments (such as Management/Strategy Consulting PMO or internal transformation roles).
Proven experience managing different types of internal business projects using blended waterfall and agile approaches.
Strong execution discipline with excellent organizational tracking and risk management skills.
Ability to bring clarity and structure to ambiguous or evolving project workstreams.
Proactive approach to risk dependency and stakeholder management.
Comfortable coordinating across multiple business stakeholders and driving accountability against agreed actions and timelines without direct line authority.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (C1/C2 level required) with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong preference for an Individual Contributor path focused on project delivery excellence.
