Process Engineer HTP WB

Job Description:

An opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineering Specialist has arisen within Airbus Operations in Getafe (Madrid).

The selected candidate will join the Manufacturing Engineering Team responsible for Widebody (WB) Products specifically focusing on HTP A350 & A330. The team is multidisciplinary and operates in an international environment driving design-for-manufacture process standardization and industrialization across complex aerostructures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The main tasks of the jobholder will be:

• Drive Collaborative Design: Integrate industrial requirements into all design phases (Process A2853.3) advocate for DfM best practices and coordinate technical configuration management (Delta 2).

• Develop Build Processes & Means: Calculate operation-level cycle times design ME build processes and specify technical requirements for tooling equipment and machinery.

• Manage Technical Documentation: Create and update Routings Bill of Materials (BoM) and Standard Operating Instructions (SOI) according to Process A2019.1 and Airbus Golden Rules.

• Ensure Quality & Process Integrity: Implement Standard Work with Standard Time Values (STV) conduct FMEA/PFMEA risk analyses and define measurement tasks for Quality Control Panels.

• Provide Operational Technical Authority: Act as ME signatory for Airbus Process Specifications (AIPS/AIPI/MNI) resolve complex shop-floor escalations and support validations.

• Optimize Production & Costs: Evaluate the industrial impact of technical modifications (collaboration with IA ISE TDE PPE) support CAPEX/budget planning and integrate EHS compliance.

• Education: Aeronautical Industrial or Mechanical Engineering degree (or a related discipline).

• Experience: Proven experience in Manufacturing Engineering work preparation or production industrialization within aerospace or high-tech manufacturing environments.

• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Airbus processes (A2019.1 A2853.3 AIPS/AIPI) SAP/MRP systems PFMEA methodology and industrial tooling specifications.

• Soft Skills: High adaptability to work in cross-functional networking modes strong problem-solving mindset and international team collaboration.

• Languages: Advanced level in English (C1 equivalent minimum). Spanish is highly valued.

• Valuable / Nice to Have: Direct experience with A350/A330 horizontal tail planes (HTP) or composite/metallic structural assemblies.
