Lead the mechanical design and engineering of equipment with a strong focus on food processing aseptic and hot-fill technologies filling systems and related process equipment.
Participate in the design and development of complete aseptic and hot-fill production systems including filling equipment CIP/SIP systems and product handling solutions.
Expand beyond component-level design to drive system-level engineering integration and optimization.
Develop process concepts P&IDs equipment layouts technical specifications and engineering documentation.
Apply expertise in aseptic processing sterilization technologies fluid dynamics and hygienic design principles.
Solve complex engineering challenges related to food safety process performance validation and operational efficiency.
Contribute to R&D initiatives and the development of next-generation filling and processing solutions.
Bridge the gap between engineering design and operational reality by continuously improving designs based on field experience and customer feedback.
Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) commissioning and start-up activities.
Ensure engineered solutions perform reliably and efficiently throughout their operational lifecycle.
Collaborate closely with Mechanical Design Automation R&D Project Management Product Management and Operations teams.
Travel internationally to support commissioning start-ups troubleshooting and customer projects.
Work directly with customers suppliers and OEM partners to ensure successful project execution.
Provide on-site technical support troubleshooting and process optimization.
You bring these skills experience & education:
Minimum 5 years of experience in food beverage dairy pharmaceutical or related process industries with a focus on equipment design and engineering.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering Mechatronics Process Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Strong proficiency in CAD software preferably SolidWorks.
Solid understanding of mechanical design principles process equipment and manufacturing systems.
Experience with aseptic processing filling technologies CIP/SIP systems or hygienic equipment design is highly desirable.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and international environments.
Fluent in English and Spanish both written and spoken.
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is considered an advantage.
