WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON

GMV is looking for a highly motivated SPACE ENGINEER tocoordinate an operations team in charge of the provision and evolution ofCollision Avoidance (CA) services from the Spanish Space Surveillance andTracking Operations Centre (S3TOC).
GMV is a leading company in the space sector in particularin Space Surveillance and Tracking (SST) and Space Traffic Management (STM).GMV engineers use cutting-edge technologies to develop the solutions of thefuture.

As operations coordinator in the Spanish Space Surveillanceand Tracking Operations Centre (S3TOC) you will co-lead a team of S3TOCanalysts from a consortium of companies performing the routine operations ofthe system with the final goal to provide CA services to satelliteowner/operators around the world. The functions of this job are:

• Lead theteam of S3TOC operations analysts organizing Daily Operations Meeting (DOM)Weekend Operations Meeting (WEM) and Internal Meetings
• Overseeof the daily activities by setting objectives and priorities and to ensureswift decision-making
• Debrisvs. debris collision events monitoring
• EUSSTTask Force campaigns coordination
• Specialoperations coordination
• Managementthe technical interface between the S3TOC and its users EUSST entities andother external stakeholders involved in operations
• Planningof S3TOC operational shifts
• Monitoringand management of the external interactions and data exchanges involving theS3TOC
• Supportthe operations team in identifying tactical hardware and software maintenancetasks
• Contributeto the safe deployment acceptance and commissioning of new system andsubsystem releases
• Monitorsand report KPIs related to service provision to the Client

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM

We are looking for MSc in Aerospace Engineering with background in orbitalmechanics or other BSc/MSc related to Space with proven experience inSpacecraft operations.

We will also value previous experience and knowledge in:

• Spacecraft operations background

• FlightDynamics experience
• Orbitdetermination experience
• AdvancedMS Office required
• Englishlanguage Negotiation level required
