Navaids & Avionics Intern

In Spain Thales Sistemas is specialized in Command and Control systems Tactical Communications and Modeling and Simulation addressing solutions in the domain of Defense and Security. Thales is the Spanish leader in tactical LandCIS (Communication and Information Systems)covering all the product life cycle (design development production ILS). Based in Leganés Thales Sistemas employs a highly specialized workforce of more than 100 people most of them engineers that participate in the following activities:

• Communications and Information Systems (CIS) to support Command function and Decision Making:

• Embedded electronics for military aircraft

• Tactical Communications

• Radio Navigation Aids for air traffic

As part of the System Integration Engineering team as a NAVAIDS & AVIONICS Intern you will:

• Writing and/or editing of project and offer documentation (Navaids/Avionics)

• Assistance in the preparation of manuals installation plans training programs for maintenance and operation etc.

• Evaluation and testing of the configuration set up for the Client.

• Avionics Test benches configuration

• Aeronautic Radio integration

• Avionics on-board equipment product lifecycle.

Technical/functional skills:

• Telecommunication Aerospace or electronics degree

• IP networks

• Radiocommunication

• System design and integration

• Windows

• English (medium/high)

• Soft skills:

  • They should have social skills of the communicative type since he will assist and support Thales staff in user courses and meetings.

  • In addition you will have to write documents and emails correctly accurately and understandably.
