We are looking for a Junior Backend Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This is a great opportunity to take the next step in your backend development career working alongside experienced engineers on real products used by multinational clients.

What You Will Do:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot with guidance from senior engineers.
• Help build and improve RESTful APIs consumed by internal and external clients.
• Write clean maintainable and well-tested code following team standards.
• Participate in code reviews both giving and receiving feedback to grow as an engineer.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers product managers and designers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Learn about system architecture performance reliability and security in a production environment.
• Contribute to deployment and monitoring tasks as part of your professional development.

What We Are Looking For:

• A degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Around 12 years of experience with Java and object-oriented programming (internships traineeships or professional experience all count).
• Familiarity with Spring Boot or willingness to learn it quickly.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and how web applications communicate.
• A problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
• Eagerness to learn ask questions and grow within a supportive team.

Bonus:

• Personal or academic projects showcasing backend development skills.
• Exposure to version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL).
• Interest in Docker CI/CD or cloud environments.
