Global Benefits Specialist

The Opportunity

This newly created role keeps Flywires global benefits and leave programs running smoothly across 15 countries. Working closely with People Payroll Finance and Legal teams you will optimize processes manage vendor relationships serve as a main escalation point for employees and support our Total Rewards and Recognition strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Operations & Escalations: Support daily benefits operations (enrollments life events open enrollment) and act as the first point of escalation for complex benefits and leave inquiries.

• Vendor & Leave Management: Coordinate daily vendor operations eligibility files and renewals. Support leave-of-absence logistics and return-to-work execution.

• Process Improvement & Compliance: Perform benefit audits reconciliations and system testing. Document processes and create self-service guides for employees.

• Recognition Strategy: Support the rollout and ongoing administration of Flywires global recognition program.

Qualifications :

• Experience: 24 years in benefits administration HR operations or Total Rewards.

• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets (audits & reporting). HRIS experience (e.g. Workday) is a strong plus.

• Competencies: Strong organizational skills process documentation capability and fluency in English. Multi-country benefits experience is highly preferred.
