Full Stack Developer

apeirum partners with European engineering companies to place senior software talent. For one of our client partners an established engineering company in Barcelona were hiring a Full Stack Developer to build and evolve an internal simulation & visualization platform used in complex engineering design. Youll own front-end back-end and data and turn rich engineering data into intuitive high-performance visual tools. Barcelona-based full-time.

Tasks

• Develop and maintain the front-end and back-end of the simulation & visualization platform.
• Build interactive visualizations of system performance data and behavior.
• Work with simulation control and systems engineers to integrate engineering models.
• Improve platform scalability maintainability and user experience.
• Contribute to architecture code reviews and continuous improvement.
• Support deployment testing and documentation of new features.

Requirements

Must have:

• Full-stack experience (TypeScript Python React or similar).
• Strong front-end frameworks / modern UI development.
• Back-end services APIs and data handling.
• Ability to build interactive data visualizations and intuitive UIs.
• Proven delivery in a structured engineering environment; strong communicator.
• Based in Spain (Barcelona).
• Degree: Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
• Languages: English (professional); Spanish/Catalan and German a plus.

Nice to have:

• Domain knowledge in simulation control engineering or robotics.
• Scientific computing / simulation tools.
• Cloud deployment containerization or CI/CD.
• 2D/3D visualization libraries.
