Job Summary

In Spain Thales España Sistemas is specialized in Command and Control systems Tactical Communications and Modeling and Simulation addressing solutions in the domain of Defense and Security. Thales is the Spanish leader in tactical LandCIS (Communication and Information Systems)covering all the product life cycle (design development production ILS).
Based in Leganés Thales España Sistemas employs a highly specialized workforce of more than 100 people most of them engineers that participate in the following activities:
Communications and Information Systems (CIS) to support Command function and Decision Making:
Embedded electronics for military aircraft
Tactical Communications
Radio Navigation Aids for air traffic
As a Finance Intern you will be part of:
Monthly reconciliations between off-balance-sheet/sub-ledger items and the general ledger.
Identification of variances/discrepancies and proposal of corrective measures.
Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable management: tracking of invoices and goods receipts.
Preparation of periodic reports to be submitted to management.
Support during audits.
Review of invoice uploads to the SII (Immediate Information Supply System)
Completion of surveys and questionnaires for various public entities.
Support in daily treasury/cash management operations.
Support in the 2027 Electronic Invoicing project.
Competences:
Technical/functional skills:
Bachelor in Business Administration or similar
High Level of English & Spanish both spoken and written.
Behavioural skills:
Proactive and positive attitude towards learning.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
