EMEA Regional Services EHS Leader
Job Summary
This role requires solid knowledge and experience of regulations applicable to field project and service operations and familiarity with GE Vernova products and customers and comprehensive background managing high risk activities in similar work environments.
Essential Responsibilities
Lead coach and mentor a team of EHS professionals across EMEA region.
Provide oversight and governance to ensure EHS compliance with applicable management systems programs legislation and standards for distributed operations across the region.
Serves as an EHS expert for applicable regulatory and industry standard requirements for projects across the region.
Partner and develop positive working relationships with customers external agencies and contractors as well as internal cross-functional personnel.

Qualifications/Requirements
o Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health and Safety or technical equivalent from an accredited college or university or equivalent qualification
o Certified Health and Safety professional
o Significant EHS experience in a professional EHS role overseeing the execution of EHS in projects or services environment leading a team of EHS resources
o Demonstrated achievements with safety programs industry standards and regulatory requirements
o Deep domain expertise in multiple High-Risk Operations example; Electrical Safety/LOTO crane safety construction safety fall prevention confined space.
o Demonstrated ability to organize motivate and drive change and interact cross-functionally
o Medical fitness and ability to work at height per local and global standards
o Able to coach and support key influencers to drive EHS compliance and the reduction of risk through team engagement and help develop an organizational culture that prioritizes EHS
o Fluent English (verbally in writing presentation level)

o Confidently able to facilitate and deliver training and or presentations to a diverse audience
o Ability to influence and motivate diverse teams to achieve a unified goal
o Trained to Global Wind Organization (GWO) standard
o Demonstrated chemical management or industrial hygiene experience.
o Additional language skills of languages spoken within EMEA region
Eligibility Requirements:
o Ability to travel 50% of the time
o Currently residing within the region at one of the core Wind office locations
o Permanent Work Permit for the region
