Your Tasks
- Develop and operate productive data pipelines for reports analytics and machine learning and ensure their quality and future viability
- Use your software development skills and set new standards for development and deployment
- Optimize the performance of data engineering solutions and guarantee their scalability
- Ensure data quality and consistency through data validation and cleansing
- Monitor and troubleshoot data infrastructure to minimize downtime
- Implement data security and privacy measures
- Work in interdisciplinary agile teams with data scientists data engineers product owners and specialist departments
Your Profile
- Completed degree in computer science or talented newcomer
- Enthusiasm for the topic of data engineering and software development
- Experience in cloud containerization and big data ideally with MS Azure Kubernetes and Spark
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with developing data pipelines (batch streaming)
- Experience with at least one programming language (Python Scala Java)
- Knowledge of the software development cycle and its best practices (e.g. CI/CD DevOps testing)
- Analytical skills agile mindset independence and hands-on mentality
