Configuration Administrator Intern

In Spain Thales Sistemas is specialized in Command and Control systems Tactical Communications and Modeling and Simulation addressing solutions in the domain of Defense and Security. Thales is the Spanish leader in tactical LandCIS (Communication and Information Systems)covering all the product life cycle (design development production ILS). Based in Leganés Thales Sistemas employs a highly specialized workforce of more than 100 people most of them engineers that participate in the following activities:

• Communications and Information Systems (CIS) to support Command function and Decision Making:
• Embedded electronics for military aircraft
• Tactical Communications
• Radio Navigation Aids for air traffic

As part of the Configuration Management team as a Configuration Administration Intern you will:

• Identify the Configuration
• Control the Configuration
• Record the Configuration Status
• Perform Configuration Verifications and Audits
• Prepare Configuration Management Plans
• Be an advanced user of the Windchill lifecycle tool (PLM)
• Manage and request NATO Cataloging certificates
• Provide support to users

Competences:

Technical/functional skills:

• Bachelor degree in Information and Documentation
• High level of English
• Advanced user of the Office suite

Other (advantage):

• PLM tools management
• Knowledge of Configuration Management
• Medium/high level of French

What does the Talent Programme consist of

At Thales we believe that the new generations are the drivers of change and for this reason we have developed a one-year full-time internship programme that we will complement with a Masters degree in Productivity Adaptive Management and Innovation through the Nebrija University (distance learning).
