Accounting Intern

Reporting to: Accounting Supervisor

Start date: September 2026

Ideal duration: 6 months - 1 year

Location:Barcelona Spain

Job Summary:

Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) provides power circuits for systems found in cloud computing telecom infrastructure automotive industrial and consumer applications.

MPS is seeking an energetic efficient self-motivated and resourceful team player to be a member of its accounting staff supporting our European subsidiaries.

Essential Functions

Under the guidance of experienced F&A professionals you will get the chance to:

• Gain insights into the Finance and Accounting processes in a multinational company.
• Support Accounting activities and its integration with the overall business and functional areas at different levels.
• Work with ERP and Business systems (IFS Auditboard SAP-Concur PowerBi etc)
• Support key Accounting processes across Europe including:

• Supporting system entries and reconciliations.
• Support Audit processes (GAAP / Sox) and Financial statements preparation.
• Participate in full month and year end cycle and tax matters.
• Tracking Statutory documentation.
• Support ERP and system enhancements to secure Finance Processes and statutory financials accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Masters degree in Finance/Accounting or related field.
• Comfortable working with digital tools and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint)
• Interested in ERP systems and PowerBI
• Fluent in English & Spanish (additional languages are a plus!)
• A proactive detail-oriented and adaptable team player with a passion for Business.
