Are you passionate about field sales and generating new business We are looking for a driven Technical Sales Representative to join a growing renewable energy company. This is a hunter role where youll be responsible for identifying new opportunities prospecting and building lasting customer relationships across residential and commercial markets. If you enjoy being out in the field opening new accounts and exceeding sales targets while promoting innovative renewable energy solutions this is the opportunity for you.
Job Description:
- Proactively identify prospect and secure new business opportunities within an assigned territory
- Conduct face-to-face client visits to generate leads and build a strong sales pipeline
- Engage with residential and commercial customers to understand their energy requirements
- Present and promote renewable energy solutions tailored to customer needs
- Qualify opportunities and convert leads into new business
- Attend networking events community activations and marketing campaigns to generate new leads
- Maintain accurate customer information and sales activities using CRM systems
- Achieve weekly and monthly sales and new business targets
- Provide market intelligence and competitor feedback
- Work closely with the internal sales and technical teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years experience in technical sales external sales field sales or business development with a strong focus on hunting and new business generation
- Proven track record of prospecting lead generation and closing new business
- Experience selling technical electrical industrial or renewable energy solutions is advantageous
- Strong communication negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Experience using CRM systems to manage sales pipelines
- Highly motivated target-driven and able to work independently
- Valid drivers licence and own reliable vehicle
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Qualification in Sales Business Marketing Electrical Engineering or a related technical field is advantageous
- Relevant technical sales or field sales experience is essential
