Job Description

SallySupport is building a Talent Pool of After Hours Care Operations Coordinators for future opportunities supporting home care organisations across the United States and Canada.

In this role you may support home care operations outside normal business hours helping ensure continuity of care when unexpected situations arise.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Managing caregiver call-outs cancellations late arrivals and missed visits.
  • Coordinating replacement coverage and responding to scheduling changes.
  • Communicating with caregivers clients and families.
  • Monitoring schedules and following up on outstanding visits.
  • Assessing operational issues taking appropriate action and escalating when necessary.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and providing clear shift handovers.

We are looking for someone who is calm under pressure organised confident and able to take ownership of problems rather than simply passing them on.

This is a Talent Pool opportunity and not an immediate vacancy. Successful candidates may be considered for future client placements as suitable opportunities become available.



Requirements
  • Previous experience in operations scheduling coordination customer service healthcare administration or a similar fast-paced environment.
  • Strong spoken and written English.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgement.
  • Comfortable working independently and making decisions.
  • Tech-savvy and confident working across multiple digital systems and platforms.
  • Experience with electronic healthcare systems home care software scheduling platforms or care management systems is highly advantageous.
  • Reliable computer equipment and internet connectivity for remote work.
  • Comfortable working non-traditional hours aligned with U.S. or Canadian operations which may include evenings overnight shifts and weekends.

Required Skills:

We are looking for someone who brings confidence initiative resilience reliability and professional maturity to the role. What Were Looking For Previous experience in operations scheduling coordination customer service healthcare administration or another fast-paced environment. Experience managing multiple priorities and communication channels simultaneously. Strong verbal and written English communication skills. Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping. Confidence communicating with customers clients and other stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to work independently use initiative and take ownership. Ability to remain calm and professional when priorities change or urgent situations arise. Ability to learn new software systems and processes quickly. Experience working remotely and managing responsibilities without constant supervision. Reliable computer equipment and stable internet connectivity suitable for full-time remote work. Willingness and ability to work flexible and rotating shifts including after-hours and weekend coverage when required. Comfortable working on a full-time Independent Contractor basis. Experience within home care healthcare medical administration workforce scheduling or care coordination would be advantageous but is not essential.
