An innovative renewable energy developer is seeking a Solar Design Engineer to create high-performance solar PV solutions for commercial industrial and utility-scale applications.
Duties & Responsibilities
As a Solar Design Engineer you will lead the technical design of solar PV systems conduct feasibility studies optimize energy yields and support project execution. You will work closely with clients and project teams to deliver efficient and cost-effective renewable energy solutions.

Education:
- BEng/BSc Electrical Engineering
- Renewable Energy specialization advantageous
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- 3-8 years solar PV design experience
- Experience with Helioscope PVsyst and AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of solar PV system design principles
- Knowledge of grid-tied and hybrid systems
- Familiarity with South African electrical standards
- Ability to perform energy yield assessments
- Strong technical reporting and communication skills
