An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial function within a growing construction business.
This role is ideal for a commercially minded professional who enjoys leading teams managing project costs driving procurement strategies and ensuring the successful financial delivery of residential and commercial projects.

Job Description:
- Lead and mentor the Quantity Surveying and Procurement teams
- Manage estimating tendering and project cost planning
- Monitor project budgets cash flow and financial performance
- Review valuations payment certificates and variation claims
- Oversee procurement activities and supplier performance
- Administer JBCC contracts and manage commercial risk
- Drive value engineering and cost-saving initiatives
- Work closely with project teams to maximise project profitability
- Improve commercial processes and reporting systems
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 8 years Quantity Surveying experience within the construction industry
- Previous experience managing or leading commercial/QS teams
- Strong knowledge of estimating cost control procurement and contract administration
- Advanced experience using Candy (CCS)
- Experience working with JBCC contracts
- Knowledge of Xero ApprovalMax or similar financial systems is advantageous
- Strong leadership communication and analytical skills
Qualification:
- BSc BTech or National Diploma in Quantity Surveying Construction Management
- Professional registration with SACQSP is advantageous
