A leading client in the Financial Services and Insurance space needs a senior Oracle specialist to design build and shape mission-critical Oracle database solutions. Youll lead projects mentor the next generation of developers and turn performance bottlenecks into measurable wins. If you love making complex systems fast secure and scalable this ones for you.

Design and build Oracle database solutions end to end: schemas tables indexes and stored procedures aligned with best practice and industry standards.

Write and optimise complex SQL PL/SQL and database functions that meet business requirements and performance standards.

Hunt down bottlenecks through query tuning indexing and resource management to keep systems highly available reliable and scalable.

Keep databases healthy by monitoring with Oracle tools and utilities and handling backups restores upgrades and troubleshooting.

Protect sensitive data by implementing and enforcing database security measures and access controls.

Lead delivery of database development projects with PMs BAs and IT teams from requirements to on-time delivery.

Mentor and lead junior developers providing hands-on technical leadership.

Drive improvement by documenting designs and configurations reporting on performance and project status to senior management and recommending upgrades to performance security and functionality.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or a related field

7 years as an Oracle Developer designing developing and optimising Oracle database solutions

Proven strong Oracle SQL PL/SQL and Oracle Performance Tuning skills with a focus on performance optimisation

Advanced knowledge of Oracle database architecture design and development

Experience with data migration ETL processes and database integration

Experience with database management and monitoring tools

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills plus effective communication and interpersonal skills
