We are looking for a Senior Communications Advisor to be responsible for is responsible for leading all employee engagement and internal communications across RBM including the culture programme. The role strengthens employee connection understanding and participation through clear consistent and engaging communication while managing information touchpoints across the business. It also supports the collation of content that showcases different areas of the business and develops interactive engagements beyond traditional communication channels to build a well-informed connected and engaged workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all employee engagement and internal communications across RBM ensuring employees receive clear relevant and consistent information that supports understanding connection and participation.
Lead communications for the RBM culture programme translating culture priorities into practical campaigns engagements and touchpoints that help employees understand and participate in the desired culture journey.
Lead initiatives that embed the company brand internally helping employees understand and connect with RBMs identity values and priorities.
Conceptualise and drive an employee brand ambassadorship programme that enables employees to understand live and advocate for the RBM brand values and employee experience in a credible and authentic way.
Support and drive the implementation of the Employee Value Proposition in partnership with HR ensuring messaging supports attraction retention pride and employee belonging.
Oversee optimise and manage all internal communication channels and information touchpoints across RBM to ensure information is timely accessible consistent relevant and easy for employees to engage with.
Manage the planning content development production and distribution of the employee newsletter ensuring it reflects business priorities employee stories and key updates.
Collate content from different areas of the business and showcase operational functional and employee stories in ways that help employees understand RBMs priorities progress and people.
Spend time on the ground with operational and functional teams to understand day-to-day activities identify communication gaps capture moments in time and surface authentic stories that connect employees to the business and improve communication reach particularly for frontline

What youll bring
Degree in Communications /Marketing /Journalism /Public Relations
Certificate in DTP (Desk Top Publishing) will be an added advantage
Digital Marketing knowledge will be an added advantage
South African drivers license (with own car)
Atleast 5 -10 years experience in a communications role with an internal focus
Understanding of the heavy industry will be an added advantage
Demonstrated experience in employee communications and creative and brand work.
Understanding of the business approach to Employee Communications within the PtO framework.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (Copyright).
Proficiency in iSizulu is essential
