What you will be doing:

• Monitoring market conditions positions and risk limits
• Executing trades for clients and internal portfolios ideally across multi-asset class securities
• Working closely and supporting the Head of Trading
• Liaising with brokers and counterparties to source liquidity and ensure best execution
• Keeping accurate trade records in line with regulatory and internal controls
• Manage broker relationships and recommending suitable allocation plans

What we are looking for:

• Minimum of 2 years trade execution experience in JSE-listed securities
• Minimum of a finance / business or management degreeor similar
• Completed JSE and FAIS regulatory exams (RPEs JSE registered securities trader FAIS RE5)
• Knowledge of the Bloomberg trading platform
• Sound knowledge of financial markets & passion for markets and trading
• High attention to detail
• Good communication skills and a good team player
