Are you an experienced Quality Technician with a background in manufacturing and laboratory testingAn established manufacturing company in Rosslyn Pretoria is seeking a Quality Technician to join their team on a 6 month contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong quality control laboratory and Quality Management System (QMS) experience within a manufacturing environment.
Position Details
- Position: Quality Technician
- Location: Rosslyn Pretoria
- Contract Duration: 6 Months
- Salary: R15000 per month
- Industry: Manufacturing
- Working Hours: Shift work (day and night shifts)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine quality testing on raw materials in-process samples and finished products.
- Conduct chemical and physical laboratory testing.
- Record and report test results accurately.
- Identify and report quality deviations and non-conforming products.
- Support root cause investigations and corrective actions.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and testing standards.
- Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS) ISO standards and laboratory procedures.
- Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
- Support internal and external quality audits.
- Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to ensure consistent product quality.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric.
- National Diploma in Engineering Chemistry or a related qualification.
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Quality Technician within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Experience in laboratory testing quality inspections and quality control processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
Advantageous
- ISO 9001 knowledge.
- Chemical laboratory experience.
- Experience with laboratory equipment and testing methods.
- Quality Control experience within a manufacturing environment.
