Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans test cases and test scripts.
- Perform manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications.
- Build and maintain test automation frameworks and testing pipelines.
- Identify document prioritise and track software defects.
- Conduct regression functional non-functional and exploratory testing.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure quality throughout the software lifecycle.
- Participate in code reviews and provide input on quality and testability.
- Verify that software meets business requirements and user acceptance criteria.
- Continuously improve testing methodologies and quality assurance processes.
Job Experience and Skills Required
- Relevant qualification in Information Technology Computer Science Software Development or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Tester or Software Tester.
- Experience creating and executing test plans test cases and test scripts.
- Strong exposure to both manual and automated testing methodologies.
- Experience testing web and mobile applications.
- Experience with Agile development environments.
- Experience with bug tracking and issue management processes.
- Exposure to software development lifecycles and quality assurance best practices.
- Functional testing including UI and UX validation.
- Non-functional testing including performance and usability testing.
- Regression and exploratory testing.
- Test automation frameworks and tools.
- JIRA Sentry or similar issue tracking platforms.
- Git and version control practices.
- API testing tools such as Postman.
- Test scripting using Python Dart or related technologies.
- Understanding of modern web and mobile application testing.
