Duties & Responsibilities
Join a well-established business in the engineering and construction sector where finance plays a key role in supporting operational success. This opportunity is suited to a hands-on detail-driven finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment takes ownership and is confident partnering with teams across the business. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within a stable operationally focused business.
Duties:
Manage month-end close including journals accruals and reconciliations
Process intercompany transactions and maintain general ledger accuracy
Manage fixed assets depreciation and balance sheet schedules
Prepare VAT tax-related reconciliations and statutory submissions
Oversee debtors creditors and support audit requirements
Education and Experience:
BCom Accounting or Finance
3 years accounting experience in a commercial environment
SAICA or SAIPA articles completed
CIMA would be an advantage
Experience on Pastel Accounting and/or Xero
