Job Summary
BluPool is looking for a practical organised and reliable Operations Dispatch & Fleet Assistant to support the daily readiness of our field teams.
This role is responsible for preparing stock chemicals tools equipment and vehicles before teams leave for site. The person must help keep the stores yard and fleet organised clean accountable and ready for daily operations.
This is a hands-on position suited to someone with warehouse stores dispatch fleet building supplies hardware logistics or maintenance support experience.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Dispatch & Team Readiness
Open stores and assist with morning dispatch.
Pick and prepare daily stock requirements for maintenance repairs and construction teams.
Prepare chemicals tools and equipment required for the day.
Check that vehicles are loaded correctly before teams leave.
Record shortages missing items or dispatch problems immediately.
Assist with returned stock chemicals tools and equipment at the end of the day.
Stores & Warehouse Operations
Receive supplier deliveries and check quantities against paperwork.
Pack stock neatly onto shelves and maintain proper storage areas.
Keep stores chemical areas and yard clean safe and organised.
Assist with daily weekly and monthly stock counts.
Report damaged expired missing or low-stock items.
Maintain discipline around stock movement and stock handling.
Fleet Support
Assist with daily vehicle readiness checks.
Check basic vehicle condition cleanliness and equipment readiness.
Report vehicle damage missing items tyre issues service concerns or safety risks.
Support fleet preparation so that teams can leave on time.
Tools PPE & Uniforms
Issue and receive tools and equipment.
Report damaged lost or missing tools.
Assist with PPE and uniform issuing.
Help maintain basic records of tools PPE and operational equipment.
Operational Support
Collect stock from suppliers when required.
Assist with loading and offloading.
Support stores compliance safety checks and housekeeping.
Work closely with Muzi on stock procurement and inventory control requirements.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
Valid drivers licence.
Previous stores warehouse dispatch logistics fleet hardware construction supply or maintenance support experience.
Physically fit and willing to do hands-on work.
Reliable punctual and organised.
Able to follow instructions and work under pressure.
Basic computer literacy.
Good record-keeping ability.
Honest and accountable with company stock and tools.
Advantageous
Experience with pool plumbing hardware construction chemicals or maintenance supplies.
Fleet or vehicle inspection experience.
Basic mechanical knowledge.
Experience with inventory systems.
Forklift experience.
Experience working with field teams or technicians.
Required Skills:
Essential Requirements: Previous experience in construction project coordination site administration technical administration or operations coordination. Strong administrative and organisational skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Good written and verbal communication skills. Computer literate and comfortable using digital systems. Ability to manage multiple projects priorities and deadlines. Strong problem-solving and organisational abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to work in both office and site environments. Reliable accountable and process-driven. Advantageous: Experience in the construction civil or building industry. Experience working with contractors suppliers and site teams. Knowledge of project administration processes. Experience using ServiceM8 CRM systems or project management software. Valid drivers licence. Pool industry experience.
Required Education:
Valid drivers stores warehouse dispatch logistics fleet hardware construction supply or maintenance support fit and willing to do hands-on punctual and to follow instructions and work under computer record-keeping and accountable with company stock and tools.
