Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Network Design and Implementation: Design and implement network solutions to improve efficiency and performance.
Configuration and Support: Install configure and support network equipment including routers switches firewalls and VPNs.
Network Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance including updates patches and security configurations.
Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance troubleshoot issues and resolve outages.
Security Management: Implement and manage network security measures.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations and changes.
Collaboration: Work with network architects and other IT staff to optimize network performance.

Skills:
Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of network protocols firewalls routers and switches.

Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and explain technical concepts clearly.
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CCNA CCNP or CompTIA Network.
Experience:
Professional Experience: 3 5 years of experience in network engineering or a related field.
This role will include travelling to sites in and outside South Africa.
