Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Manage mechanical engineering projects from concept through to commissioning.
- Coordinate project activities schedules budgets and technical deliverables.
- Develop and review mechanical designs specifications and engineering documentation.
- Liaise with clients suppliers contractors and internal project teams.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely on time and within budget.
- Monitor project progress and proactively resolve technical and operational challenges.
- Participate in site inspections installation oversight and commissioning activities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards quality requirements and safety regulations.
Minimum Requirements
- BEng or BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3 to 5 years experience in a Mechanical Project Engineering role.
- Experience within mining mineral processing heavy industry manufacturing or related engineering environments will be advantageous.
- Proven ability to manage engineering projects and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems equipment design and project execution methodologies.
- Proficiency in engineering software and project management tools.
- Excellent communication planning and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
