Duties & Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance reliability and performance of protrusion/extrusion equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will lead the maintenance team reduce downtime improve equipment efficiency and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage preventative and corrective maintenance programs for protrusion/extrusion machinery.
- Supervise maintenance technicians and contractors.
- Diagnose mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic faults.
- Minimise production downtime through effective troubleshooting and planning.
- Develop maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Monitor spare parts inventory and procurement requirements.
- Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental regulations.
- Prepare maintenance reports budgets and performance metrics.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and equipment reliability projects.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Trade Test qualification advantageous.
- Maintenance management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of protrusion/extrusion equipment and industrial machinery.
- Experience with PLCs automation systems and preventative maintenance systems.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
