Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyse network traffic endpoint activity logs and security alerts for suspicious behaviour
- Investigate contain and respond to security incidents and breaches
- Perform threat analysis vulnerability assessments and remediation tracking
- Conduct risk assessments and identify security gaps across environments
- Support and optimise security tooling and security operations processes
- Produce clear incident reports root cause analyses and remediation documentation
- Contribute to continuous improvement of security controls procedures and playbooks
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure effective security outcomes
- Education: Relevant qualification in Cyber Security Information Technology Computer Science or a related field
- Experience:
- 35 years experience in Security Operations SOC or Incident Response
- 35 years experience in Vulnerability Management or Threat Analysis
- Experience working with Security Tooling SIEM and Endpoint Security solutions
- MSP MSSP or multi-client support experience advantageous
- Technical Skills:
- Microsoft 365 Azure Microsoft Entra ID and Purview
- Experience with security platforms such as CrowdStrike Blumira Petra or similar technologies
- Strong understanding of network security fundamentals and threat investigation processes
- Identity and access management Zero Trust principles and Conditional Access
- Security monitoring threat detection and incident response methodologies
- Certifications (Advantageous):
- CompTIA Security
- CompTIA CySA
- ISC2 SSCP
- Microsoft Security certifications (SC-200 SC-300 AZ-900 AZ-104)
- Additional Requirements:
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
- Excellent communication and analytical abilities
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Valid drivers licence and reliable transport
