Are you an Industrial Engineer who loves figuring out how things work finding inefficiencies and turning messy data into meaningful insights

Were looking for a Junior Industrial Engineer to join a fast-paced manufacturing and supply chain environment where youll have the opportunity to make a real impact across the entire value chain.

This isnt a role where youll spend your days buried in spreadsheets with no idea what happens on the factory floor. Youll get involved from raw materials arriving through production work-in-progress finished goods and ultimately dispatch using data process analysis and problem-solving to improve how the operation runs.

If youre analytical curious process-driven and constantly asking "Why are we doing it this way" this could be the role for you.



Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
  • BEng/BTech/BSc in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing FMCG or food production environment.
  • Working knowledge of ERP/MES systems and production/stock reporting (Syspro experience not required).
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables lookups data cleaning); exposure to Power BI or similar BI tools advantageous.
  • Understanding of end-to-end production and supply chain processes: receiving production WIP warehousing and dispatch.
  • Working knowledge of mass balance / yield reconciliation principles in a manufacturing environment.
  • Valid drivers license and own transport given multi-site travel requirements.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with a systematic approach to root cause analysis.
  • High attention to detail and a low tolerance for data inaccuracy.
  • Process mapping and continuous improvement mindset with a bias towards simplifying and automating work rather than adding to it; Lean or Six Sigma exposure advantageous.
  • Clear communicator able to work cross-functionally across procurement production food safety maintenance finance and warehousing and hold data capturers to a consistent standard without direct authority over them.
  • Self-starter comfortable working independently and managing own time across multiple sites.
