General Assistant
Location: The Crags Plettenberg Bay Western Cape
Position Type: Full-time Live-in
Availability: Immediate
A boutique lodge situated just outside Plettenberg Bay is currently seeking a young ambitious and energetic individual with strong management and organisational skills to step into the role of General this position you will work closely with the Lodge Manager relieving and supporting various departments to ensure seamless operations.
The Ideal Candidate:
You must be highly presentable articulate and well-spoken as the primary focus of this role revolves around high-level guest relations and hospitality. You need to be a hands-on individual who takes initiative possesses strong leadership potential and thrives on creating unforgettable guest experiences.
Core Responsibilities & Required Expertise:
- Guest Relations: Serving as a primary point of contact for guests hosting in the dining room and ensuring their stay is flawless and memorable.
- General & Staff Management: Assisting the manager with daily operational oversight and supervising staff across different shifts.
- Departmental Relief: Seamlessly stepping in to coordinate and manage Housekeeping Kitchen operations and Stock Control when required.
- Event Co-ordination: Assisting in the planning setup and execution of bespoke lodge events and guest functions.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Proven general lodge or boutique hospitality experience across multiple departments.
- Strong organizational administrative and people-management skills.
- A valid code 8 drivers license (Essential).
- Own reliable transport (Essential).
- Ability to live and work in a remote beautiful estate environment.
