Front Office & Spa Manager
Job Summary
- Oversee all front office operations including reception reservations guest check-ins/check-outs and concierge services
- Ensure exceptional guest service standards are consistently maintained
- Handle guest enquiries requests and complaints professionally and efficiently
- Manage room allocations and occupancy optimisation
- Supervise and train front office staff to uphold service excellence
- Monitor front office systems reporting and administrative processes
- Ensure smooth communication between departments to enhance the guest experience
- Oversee daily spa operations ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction
- Manage spa bookings therapist scheduling and treatment room allocations
- Ensure spa treatments and services meet luxury hospitality standards
- Maintain cleanliness presentation and ambiance of spa facilities
- Monitor product inventory ordering and stock control
- Drive spa revenue through promotions upselling and package offerings
- Ensure compliance with health safety and hygiene standards
- Lead motivate and develop both front office and spa teams
- Conduct performance management and staff training
- Prepare operational reports and analyse performance metrics
- Manage departmental budgets and cost controls
- Assist in implementing strategies to improve service delivery and profitability
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management Tourism Wellness Management or related field
- Minimum 35 years experience in a similar management role within luxury hospitality
- Proven experience managing front office operations
- Spa management experience within a hospitality environment advantageous
- Strong leadership and people management skills

Proven experience in a senior guiding or Head Guide position within a luxury safari environment Nature Site Guide qualification Valid First Aid certification Valid drivers licence with PDP Rifle competency and dangerous game experience advantageous Strong leadership and mentoring abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Exceptional knowledge of African wildlife ecology and birding Ability to thrive in a remote high-pressure environment Professional appearance and guest-focused approach
