Our client in the telecommunications sector is looking for an Enterprise Architecture Lead on a contract duration of 6 to 12 months.
Role Purpose
Lead the enterprise architecture and solution-alignment aspects of the transformation ensuring that BSS designs integrations and technology solutions conform target enterprise architecture and applicable standards. The role is responsible for target architecture conformance assurance Design Authority submissions and interfaces with Enterprise Architecture.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain target enterprise architecture.
- Lead architecture across business solution and integration domains.
- Provide architecture assurance across the BSS transformation.
- Prepare and manage Design Authority submissions.
- Ensure solutions align with One architecture principles.
- Drive API-led event-driven and composable architecture.
- Ensure TM Forum Open API / ODA alignment where applicable.
- Define integration and orchestration patterns.
- Review BSS OEM architecture and proposed customisations.
- Ensure a configure-before-customise approach.
- Establish architecture standards and reference architectures.
- Manage architecture risks exceptions and technical debt.
- Work closely with Solution Architects Integration Architects Data Architects and BSS OEMs.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT Engineering or related field.
- 12 years enterprise/solution architecture experience.
- Strong telecommunications and BSS/OSS experience.
- Experience with TM Forum / ODA principles and Open APIs.
- Strong API integration and distributed architecture experience.
- Experience with cloud microservices event-driven architecture and middleware.
- Enterprise Architecture certification such as TOGAF advantageous.
- Experience working with senior architecture governance forums.
