Our client a leading player in the fintech and digital lending space is seeking a skilled Decision Scientist Credit Risk to join their high-performing Risk team. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of the full model development lifecycle from data extraction and analysis through to implementation monitoring and stakeholder engagement.

- Develop implement and optimise credit scorecards.
- Monitor portfolio performance approval rates bad debt and credit health metrics.
- Support credit decisioning strategies and decision engine implementations.
- Identify scorecard drift and recommend improvements.
- Build analytical reports and monitoring frameworks.
- Partner with technical and risk teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
- Degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics Mathematics Data Science Actuarial Science Economics or Computer Science.
- 5 years credit risk experience within unsecured lending BNPL short-term lending or a similar consumer credit environment.
- Experience building validating and monitoring credit scorecards.
- Strong understanding of bureau data and credit risk metrics.
- Advanced SQL skills.
- Experience with Python R or SAS.
- Exposure to decision engines ideally GDS Link would be advantageous.
- Strong analytical communication and stakeholder management skills.
