Duties & Responsibilities
Requirements:
- Relevant Bachelors Degree in Cybersecurity Information Technology Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
- 3 years experience in Cybersecurity / Information Security.
- Practical knowledge and experience in:
- Cybersecurity principles and best practices
- Network security
- Vulnerability management
- Security monitoring and incident response
- Firewalls and endpoint security
- SIEM and security event monitoring
- IDS/IPS technologies
- Risk assessment and security controls
- Windows and/or Linux security
- TCP/IP and networking concepts
- Strong understanding of information security frameworks standards and controls.
- Experience with security incident investigation and remediation.
- Experience identifying and addressing security vulnerabilities.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
- Cybersecurity certifications such as Security CySA CEH CISSP CISM or equivalent will be advantageous.
