Duties & Responsibilities
We are currently building our IT talent database and are looking to connect with experienced Application Engineers for current and future opportunities. We are particularly interested in professionals with strong experience in C# .NET Microsoft SQL Server Azure application delivery systems integration and application modernisation. This is an opportunity to register your profile with us so that your technical experience can be considered for suitable opportunities as they become available. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership across application modernisation cloud migration development and ongoing technical support.
- Develop and maintain C# applications using Core and technologies.
- Design develop and troubleshoot Microsoft SQL Server databases T-SQL stored procedures indexing and performance issues.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs / Web APIs and support deployment across development test and production environments.
Support Azure-hosted applications production troubleshooting and migration of Framework / IIS / SQL Server workloads.
Job Experience & Skills Required / Ideal Candidate Profile:
Education
- BSc Computer Science National Diploma in Information Technology or an equivalent relevant qualification is required.
- Microsoft SQL Server certification such as MCTS or equivalent current Microsoft database certification will be advantageous.
- Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-204 AZ-305 or AZ-104 will be advantageous.
- Additional information security qualifications will be advantageous
Experience
- 5 years of relevant professional experience spanning web/application development scripting/programming and SQL database administration.
- Strong hands-on experience with C# / Framework and Microsoft web-development environments.
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL schema design stored procedures indexing backup/restore and performance troubleshooting.
- Experience with Azure application delivery legacy application modernisation or cloud migration will be highly advantageous.
Skills
- C# / Core Framework.
- Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL database administration and performance troubleshooting.
- Azure REST APIs / Web APIs Git and structured software-development workflows.
- HTML CSS JavaScript and/or TypeScript CI/CD and production application troubleshooting.
