Job Summary
Our client in the financial services sector requires a New Business Development Manager (Fin Services) for the Cape Town area. The incumbent will drive growth secure new business and build lasting client relationships across South Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with existing customers
- Work closely with Marketing and Operations to deliver an exceptional client experience
- Engage with senior decision makers at potential customers to expand customer base
- Manage the full sales cycle
- Achieve and exceed sales and growth targets
- Monitor market trends and client needs to inform strategy
- Represent the company at industry events
- Develop strategic partnerships
- Administrative duties related to the sales cycle
- A relevant bachelors degree
- At least five years successful B2B sales or business development experience
- A strong record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent networking presentation and negotiation skills
- A proactive self-driven and consultative approach
- Relevant industry experience and an established professional network will be advantageous
- Must be able to travel across South Africa in the role
