Assistant Head Guide Vacancy
An exclusive high-end safari lodge is seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Head Guide. This role requires an exemplary leader to help manage the guiding team and deliver unforgettable wilderness experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Lead exceptional game drives and bush walks.
Mentor and train junior guiding staff daily.
Manage guiding schedules vehicle maintenance and rosters.
Host international guests with five-star hospitality.
Assist the Head Guide with department administration.
Requirements
Qualifications: NQF4 (Advanced Field Guide) with Trails
Certifications: Valid DEAT/CATHSSETA registration Trails Guide and ARH.
Licenses: Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) and firearm competency.
Experience: Minimum 35 years guiding in five-star Big 5 reserves.
Skills: Strong leadership communication and guest relations abilities.
