Assistant General Manager Luxury Treetop Lodge Plettenberg Bay

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant General Manager on behalf of an exclusive luxury treetop lodge in Plettenberg Bay Western Cape.

• Property Type: Luxury Treetop Lodge
  

• Salary: R25000 per month negotiable depending on experience
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the General Manager with the overall management and day-to-day operations of the lodge
  

• Maintain exceptional standards of guest service and hospitality
  

• Support the leadership and management of lodge staff
  

• Ensure smooth and efficient daily operations across all departments
  

• Assist with staff training development and performance management
  

• Oversee guest relations and ensure a consistently personalised guest experience
  

• Assist with operational administration stock control and financial procedures
  

• Maintain high standards across the property and ensure attention to detail at all times
  

• Step into the General Managers role and take full operational responsibility when required
  

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience in an Assistant General Manager Lodge Manager or similar senior hospitality role
  

• Experience within a luxury lodge hotel or high-end hospitality environment
  

• Strong leadership and operational management skills
  

• Excellent guest relations and communication abilities
  

• Professional hands-on and solutions-driven approach
  

• Strong organisational and administrative skills
  

• Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
  

• High level of attention to detail
  

• Passion for luxury hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences
  

• Ability to work in a remote lodge environment and adapt to the demands of lodge operations
