Job Summary
JOB PURPOSE
To manage and provide technical support as required for delivery of all the mechanical and electrical equipment
required to achieve organisational goals.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Reduce machine downtime
Repair breakdowns & do fault finding.
Daily walkthrough inspections.
Make running adjustments.
Note items for repair.
Continuous improvement initiatives
Work according to SOPs.
Ensure Housekeeping
Apply 3S principles.
Ownership to see the bigger picture and take ownership by thinking and acting beyond the role.
EDUCATION AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Qualified as a Millwright (Trade test at a recognized institution)
Minimum of 5 years experience in the mechanical field on rotation machinery hydraulics and pneumatics in a
manufacturing environment.
Minimum of 3 years experience in the tyre manufacturing and automotive industry will be an advantage.
