Our client is seeking an Accountant to join their finance team. This role is ideal for a detail-driven professional with a strong technical accounting background who enjoys working across all areas of finance while ensuring accurate reporting effective controls and regulatory compliance.
The successful candidate will play a key role in financial reporting audit coordination reconciliations and supporting the overall finance function.

The successful candidate will play a key role in financial reporting audit coordination reconciliations and supporting the overall finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the full finance function
- Support internal and external audit engagements
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes
- Maintain accurate financial records and reporting schedules
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
Requirements:
Education:- BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification
- Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
- 2-3 years post-articles experience
- Audit exposure is essential
- Experience within a full finance function environment
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Sage Evolution advantageous
- Strong financial reporting skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
