Job Summary

  • Develop and review structural designs calculations drawings and technical specifications for buildings and infrastructure projects
  • Conduct comprehensive structural analysis using industry-standard software and methodologies
  • Perform site inspections and monitor structural construction activities to ensure compliance with approved designs and project specifications
  • Coordinate with clients contractors consultants and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical issues and optimize project outcomes
  • Review and approve method statements material submittals shop drawings and other technical submissions
  • Ensure all structural works comply with Singapore Building Code relevant standards and project requirements
  • Prepare detailed technical reports recommendations and documentation for project management and stakeholders
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineering team members
  • Identify analyze and resolve structural design and construction challenges in a timely and efficient manner
  • Collaborate with the team to implement innovative solutions and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering Structural Engineering or a related engineering discipline
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in structural engineering design and construction projects
  • Strong proficiency in structural analysis and design software (STAAD Pro SAP2000 or equivalent)
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD Revit or similar platforms)
  • Solid knowledge of structural codes standards specifications and construction best practices
  • Experience with site supervision inspection and quality control on construction projects
  • Excellent communication coordination and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented approach
  • Ability to work effectively in collaborative multidisciplinary team environments
  • Professional Engineering (PE) registration or equivalent professional certification (preferred)
  • Experience with large-scale construction or infrastructure projects (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Singapore Building Code and local regulatory requirements (preferred)
  • Previous experience with engineering consultancy firms (preferred)
  • Project management experience (preferred)
