Senior Engineering Store Technician
Job Summary
- Ensure proper receipt storage and issue of MRO spares and goods in compliance to Good Manufacturing Practices Good Documentation Practice and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date inventory data in EMAS to reflect real-time information.
- Provide support to Engineering Store Supervisor and EAMS administrator according to the assigned duties and responsibilities eg. successful raising of purchase requisition monitoring purchase order and closing of the engineering departments receiving activities 4. Raise PR timely and track material delivery to ensure sufficient inventory to support operation.
- Support site project on parts receipt storage and issuing to project engineer/contractor for site installation.
- Accountable for:
- Ensure that receipt storage issuance and replenishment of MRO spares are effectively and efficiently carried out.
- Issue of engineering MRO spares and ensure all withdrawal are properly authorized and documented in a timely manner.
- Monitor purchase order and closing of receiving activities. Liaises with Procurement for return goods shipment and documentations
- Support Supervisor to review/maximize storage space utilization within available space.
- Perform regular cycle counting reconciles with records report and participate in investigation of any discrepancy that might occur and implement corrective action.
- Review and revise procedures pertaining to Engineering Store operations such as forklift operation stacking of materials etc
- Upkeep the housekeeping of the Engineering Store to a level acceptable to cGMP standard
- Involve with audits as Engineering Stores Subject Matter Expert (SME) back-up identify potential safety hazard within Engineering Store identifies and proposes process simplification.
- Assist the Engineering Store Supervisor and stand-in for him during his absence to ensure all activities is properly carried out in a timely and accurate manner.
- Lead/drive/support the team to focus on Safety and GMP Compliance as operational priorities (include metrics) know the process and procedures including the principles and practices of ALCOA.
- Develop effective monitor action for team. Ensure daily presence in GMP work area to observe work activity and practices within their role responsibilities. Be vigilant for potential actions or behaviors that could result in breaches of GMP compliance or Data Integrity principles.
- Lead/drive/support the team for real time escalations of any concerns or needs. Observant investigate and report actions or behaviors that may negatively impact the desired outcome of the GMP process or activity.
- KPIs include:
- Store housekeeping
- Store cycle count
- Stock-out
- Maintenance of material handling equipment
- GMP and Quality Compliance
- 3 years of relevant experience in warehouse or engineering store operation preferable in a Pharmaceutical environment.
- Forklift truck operator licence
- Knowledge of MRO spares parts and equipment.
- Computer literare (MS Office application) and experience in computerized inventory management system.
- Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP).
- Proficient in written and spoken English
