Job Summary
Overview & Responsibilities
Overview: 12-month contract position in Singapore for an experienced Data Center & IT Infrastructure Project Manager. Responsible for leading and coordinating end-to-end data center projects including new builds expansions retrofits IT deployments M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) infrastructure commissioning and DC migration. The role connects physical data center readiness with IT infrastructure availability without having direct budget/procurement ownership.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end project planning schedules roadmaps PMO standards change management and RAID logs.
Coordinate delivery across server storage network infrastructure virtualization structured cabling rack/cabinets power and cooling systems.
Manage data center build-outs expansions upgrades retrofits migrations cutover schedules and BCP/DR initiatives.
Coordinate cross-functional technical teams (M&E facilities construction network systems and vendor partners) and facilitate customer/stakeholder updates.
Review Bills of Materials (BOMs) hardware specs and supplier quotations for submission and alignment with technical requirements.
Oversee commissioning punch-list tracking testing acceptance handover and transition into live operations.
Qualifications: Years of Experience & Tech Stack
Years of Experience:
8 years of project management experience preferably in data centers IT infrastructure telecommunications or critical infrastructure environments.
Tech Stack & Technical Domain Knowledge:
Data Center M&E Infrastructure: Power distribution systems cooling & thermal management racks/cabinets structured cabling systems and critical physical infrastructure.
IT Infrastructure & Systems: Servers enterprise storage core networking equipment and virtualization platforms.
Lifecycle Tools & Methods: Commissioning protocols critical-path management punch-list tracking cutover execution BCP/DR frameworks and BOM validation.
Preferred Skills / Advantage
Certifications: PMP PRINCE2 or ITIL certifications.
Educational Background: Relevant technical or engineering degree or diploma.
Domain Expertise: Prior experience working in hyperscale colocation or mission-critical large enterprise data center environments.
Standards & Architecture: Strong knowledge of data center operational standards structured cabling frameworks and high-density power and cooling architectures.
Required Skills:
Qualifications: Years of Experience & Tech Stack Years of Experience: 8 years of relevant network architecture and engineering experience. Certifications: CCIE certified (written minimum required). Wireless & Controllers: Cisco Meraki Wi-Fi 7 Meraki Cloud Controllers Meraki Anchor Controllers High-Density Corporate/Guest-Net Wi-Fi. Routing & Switching: Layer 2/3 Switching Edge Routing Collapsed Branch Architectures. Documentation & Design: HLD LLD Network Topology Diagrams Configuration Specs. Preferred Skills & Advantage Bilingual Fluency: Japanese / English bilingual capabilities (English-only candidates are also welcome). Multi-Workstream Management: Proven track record running concurrent design and delivery streams in high-density environments. Virtual Leadership: Strong ability to manage distributed virtual networking teams across multiple regions.
Required Education:
Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science Information Technology or a relevant field.
