Job Summary
- Develop and implement training plans to support business and employee development needs.
- Identify training needs and skill gaps across different departments.
- Plan and organize training programmes for shore-based and seafaring employees.
- Coordinate internal and external training sessions to improve employee skills and knowledge.
- Ensure training programmes meet maritime industry regulations and standards.
- Work closely with department heads to support employee development and career progression.
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Liaise with external training providers and maritime training institutions.
- Manage training budgets schedules and records to ensure smooth training operations.
- Introduce new learning methods and digital training tools to improve training efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Business Administration Maritime Studies or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Learning and Development Manager with relevant experience in the maritime industry.
- Good knowledge of maritime training requirements industry regulations and training standards.
- Experience in training needs analysis programme development and learning management systems.
- Strong communication interpersonal organizational and stakeholder management skills.
