Brief Overview of the Team

The Controls & Validation function within the Technology unit is in charge of providing management with oversight over the full spectrum of technology risks. It includes keeping up to date with the latest regulatory developments from the regulators (i.e. MAS CSA) assessing emerging risks (AI cloud quantum computing) and act as the primary liaison for regulatory and statutory audits.

Learning Objectives

The selected intern can expect to acquire an intimate knowledge of how regulators work with SGX to manage cybersecurity risks preparation of technology risk briefings for the CIO and management and exposure to technology developments including AI cloud and quantum computing.

Job Description

• Develop a technology risk and controls management dashboard
• Assist in the development of analytics scripts for controls validation
• Assist with the handling of regulators requests.
• Experience in implementing Claude agents for workflow improvement
• Possess good communication and presentation skills

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

• MUST be familiar with good dashboard UI/UX designs for data visualizations
• MUST be a self-starter and hungry to learn about technology risks in the financial services industry
• Understands concept of risks and controls
• Knowledgeable in data analytics
• Good understanding of using AI tools such as Copilot Gemini or Claude
