Job Summary
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Engineering Team to understand requirements for migrating the tooling database from the outdated system into a modern platform.
Assist in the development and implementation of a new database system (SQL/Microsoft Access) to support tooling records search and reporting.
Support data migration and validation ensuring accuracy completeness and consistency of tooling records.
Help design userfriendly interfaces for tooling entry search and reporting workflows.
Perform testing debugging and troubleshooting of the database application to ensure reliability and usability.
Work with crossfunctional teams (Engineering Operations) to validate database functionality and meet requirements.
Education & Experience
Pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology Computer Science or Engineering.
Exposure to database systems and frontend & backend programming tools is an advantage.
Skills
Database & Data Management:
Understanding of relational databases (SQL Access or SQLite) and data validation processes.
Programming & Application Development:
Familiarity with C#.NET Python or similar languages for database integration and interface design.
Workflow & Interface Design:
Ability to design simple userfriendly forms and search functions for tooling records.
Problem-Solving & Collaboration:
Strong troubleshooting mindset attention to detail and ability to work in a crossfunctional engineering environment.
