DFIR Analyst Singapore

About our client

A leading technology-enabled cyber security firm specialising in cyber resilience across Asia is seeking an experienced DFIR Analyst to join its growing response practice here in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end incident response engagements including scoping containment evidence acquisition forensic investigation and final reporting.
• Conduct hands-on investigations across Windows Linux macOS and cloud environments covering ransomware BEC data breaches insider threats and digital forensics.
• Act as the senior technical point of contact for clients providing clear advice on findings risk remediation and recovery.
• Mentor and guide junior responders including work allocation technical review and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to the development of incident response tools playbooks automation and AI-enabled methodologies.

Requirements

• 2 years of professional cybersecurity experience including hands-on client-facing incident response experience.
• Proven ability to lead investigations across common incident types including ransomware BEC data breaches compromise assessments and digital forensics.
• Strong technical expertise across Windows Linux and macOS with practical experience of at least one major cloud platform.
• Strong scripting capabilities in Python Bash or PowerShell alongside experience with EDR SIEM and forensic tools.
• Excellent English communication skills strong judgement under pressure and a professional client-facing approach; relevant certifications such as GCIH GCFA GREM CISSP or OSCP are advantageous.
