Biotechnologist Trainee Attach and Train Program
Job Summary
The Attach & Train Programme is a structured talent development programme designed to build skilled talent for Singapores advanced biomedical manufacturing sector through practical industry-based training that develops the technical skills and capabilities needed to support the industrys current and future workforce needs.
As a Biotechnologist Trainee your development will take place through a 15-month structured on-the-job training programme within our Biologics Manufacturing team. You will work alongside experienced professionals to support the production of complex cell-based medicines under high quality and compliance standards helping to ensure a safe and reliable supply of medicines to patients.
Due to the nature of the programme and its eligibility requirements applicants must be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents.
What Youll Do
- Support cGMP manufacturing operations for biologics drug substance working in accordance with required quality and safety standards production schedules and plans.
- Depending on your assigned area you may support:
- Upstream Vial thaw inoculation cell culture and recovery.
- Downstream Chromatography filtration ultrafiltration and final filling.
- Central Services Buffer and media preparation autoclave glasswash and cleaning processes and sampling of raw materials.
- Execute assigned manufacturing operations including equipment cleaning set-up and stream-specific activities.
- Complete and review batch documentation for accuracy and completeness and resolve documentation errors promptly.
- Support shift operations and troubleshooting and report anomalous processing events to the Lead Biotechnologist or Manufacturing Supervisor.
- Maintain inventory required training and overall plant readiness to support operations.
- Identify improvement opportunities and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.

Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Science Engineering or equivalent. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Knowledge of cGMP and regulatory requirements related to manufacturing is an advantage.
- Exposure to SAP LIMS or MES through internships projects or prior experience would be an advantage.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
