AMRT Repair Development Engineer
Job Summary
The role supports activities related to enhancing repair services and technologies. Repair development will be driven by customer and operational data to improve engine and product reliability availability maintainability safety and overall performance.
The role is accountable for the quality of its own work and operates under direct supervision established work instructions and defined systems. The engineer executes tasks within a well-defined operational framework to achieve the required outcomes.
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop repair and inspection technologies and support process qualification validation and industrialization.
Deliver new and updated repair processes and related programme requirements to repair facilities.
Build foundational knowledge within the relevant engineering discipline and apply technical expertise to repair-development activities.
Apply business knowledge gained through education internships or previous experience while understanding how the teams work contributes to broader organisational objectives.
Resolve technical and process-related issues using established procedures.
Consult supervisors or senior team members when issues fall outside defined instructions or parameters.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical and operational issues.
For customer-facing activities develop effective customer relationships serve as a technical interface exchange information ask relevant questions and confirm understanding.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Welding Materials Manufacturing Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent engineering discipline.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Basic proficiency in CAD software gained through education internships or work experience.
Basic proficiency in standard computing and engineering software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Basic understanding of Lean methodologies.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability and willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time based on business requirements.
Desired Characteristics
Knowledge of repair joining inspection materials or manufacturing processes.
Ability to document plan and execute technical programmes and projects.
Good organisational and project-management skills.
Ability to manage priorities and deliver work within agreed timelines.
