Wind Analyst

Job Summary
The Wind Analyst is responsible for assessing wind measurement station data applying advanced techniques such as MCP and generating bankable wind resource assessments to support pre-tender project feasibility.
Job description:
The principal responsibilities essentially include:
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Validate and clean data from various wind measurement stations (wind speed direction turbulence shear hub-height extrapolations temperature pressure).
- MCP Studies: Apply Measure-Correlate-Predict methods to produce long-term financeable wind datasets.
- Resource Reporting: Deliver monthly semi-annual and annual reports in compliance with IFCIEC and MEASNET standards.
- Energy Yield Assessment: Estimate power production potential at different hub heights including wake loss and obstruction impacts.
- Station File Management: Maintain structured station files containing raw cleaned and validated data calibration reports and O&M records.
- Technical Coordination: Act as a communication bridge between the wind analysis team and Client stakeholders ensuring transparency in reporting.
- Knowledge Transfer: Contribute to workshops and manuals covering wind data analysis methodologies uncertainty handling and industry best practices.
Essential Criteria:
- Educational Background: B.E./B Tech in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering;
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven experience
- Excellent communication skills in English
